Today, 18 December, farmers are mobilising in Brussels, calling for a strong Common Agricultural Policy and robust regional Cohesion Policies, whose resources must not be sacrificed for the militarisation of Europe.
They also demand international trade agreements, such as Mercosur, that do not undermine the European agri-food sector, strengthen oligopolistic food corporations, and fully respect environmental, social, and public health standards.
